I always say this, and will always stand by it.
If you're getting offended by a joke, then you're the problem, not the person making the joke. And there is a difference in not finding a joke funny, and the other option which is to be a jackass about it, and you just wanting to spitefully say that you don't like someone's sense of humour under the guise of morality. Imo you have two options. 1. Laugh along (I know.) Or 2. Say that the joke isn't personally for you, and don't try to be a killjoy about it. It's honestly that simple imo.
