It's because the modern day edgelord (i.e all of Just Stop Oil) knows that words speak louder than actions in the eyes of the law, it's why they commit so many crimes instead of trolling on Twitter.

I’m starting to wonder if a bit of violence maybe the answer ..

If everytime they pulled off one of these despicable stunts and a few of them got a few backhanders and minor injuries… maybe that would serve as a deterrent ?


Not long ago we were seeing the public getting involved with the stopping traffic stunts - they were being dragged off the road and their banners destroyed . They seem to have given up with traffic jams !

We have to be careful I think, because we don't want society to be petrified of protesting either, which people will be if they were getting minor injuries for protesting.

I just wish personally that Don't Stop Oil just sticks with hijacking events, rather than messing with monuments or dangerously playing around with traffic.
