You only have to read this thread to see that the whole thing has been hijacked. Members of this forum openly posting transphobic comments and the fact they’re comfortable doing so says an awful lot about the hostile society we live in. How much further will it slip? Only time will tell.

In this case I agree that there maybe should have been more thought given, weight wise? I don’t watch boxing so don’t know the ins and outs.

Angela Carini has apologised and wants to personally apologise to Imane and I think that is the right thing to do. She has caused an unnecessary uproar in an already volatile subject matter. Lots of ignorant, hateful people in the world and on here.
