I imagine cops will be more anxious/hesitant to arrest any Muslims/POC in fear of being targeted as racist. That’s been an issue for many things in the UK, I think that people being afraid to report or act on things for the fear of being labelled a racist or right wing extremist etc etc is a genuine problem in itself. You get more hate for talking about immigration than you do if you kill 3 school girls and soon enough this is going to bite the left in the foot. Like how the left over here kept denying that Biden was just… deteriorating.
You have to speak about these uncomfortable discussions like grown adults and you just never get to see that
