It really does defeat the point of campaigning if that is the fixation. Woo hoo, everyone loves me, big deal... they're obviously already voting for you, though? Where is the focus on who the person actually is relative to the
individual voter vs their actual policies (and will their record show they actually hold that dear)? Is it now more important what the crowd size is and how enthusiastic everyone is being portrayed? If that's how we're going to judge this contest, then Trump's rallies should've given him a bigger edge, because he's sustained "enthusiasm" without the media support and acceptance in the mainstream.
Because it is such a personality contest now, I think that more voters are being blackpilled than not. Kamala did need a personality injection but the only substance seems to be "I'm not Trump" aka everything he does, I'm doing the complete opposite and no way my demeanor will be remotely Trump-like while in office... and she's saying that basically to the protesters, she's the non-Trump candidate and there's not going to be much dialogue from her other than that, just vote for her. At least with Trump we know who we were voting for. Who knows what kind of President she will actually be.
