Two things are causing the rise.

1. Religious extremism (primarily coming from Islam if we're being honest) but it is also having some impact on Christianity too.

And 2. Over the last three years there has been a rise on Incel terrorism, I know nowadays that our Counter-Terrorist Unit in this country have to be on the lookout for possible Incel attacks, because it's getting more common.

I'm sure I remember one being called far right as his goal was targeting Muslims,and the one in Paris I think...was just randomly killing people.
