Poor Lacis mom too, 20+ years later and she still seems shattered by it all,as you would I can only imagine. I felt it so hard when she said, why did he have to kill her? Why didn't he just leave her? Heartbreaking

…and that’s so much what I was thinking as well…why couldn’t he have said that he didn’t want their life together and give her the chance of a life with her child…he didn’t want to be with her but why did he need to take her life…it was an ultimate evil and selfishness…

…we really felt her mom struggle through the whole documentary, didn’t we…all through her life that pain would be right there on the surface, wouldn’t it…I mean, we just can’t imagine…and she so much trusted and bonded with him as well…
