Israel are probably in the top 6 in the world at cyber warfare. I've seen a few videos now of the pagers exploding and they certainly do some minor damage.

What this does, is put everyone on their toes, terrorists and drug dealers use very specific pagers by the same manufacturer etc, so its much more targeted than attacking a phone network
