To say Joker 2 has split opinion is a huge understatement.

Some people really hate it.

I hadn't seen any trailers or read anything about it before seeing it.

It wasn't what I expected it to be.

I didn't know it was a musical. Although it is a musical.

Lady Gaga was awful, and her character basically did nothing.

The story didn't go anywhere and the ending was poor.

Disappointing

4.5/10

The music was good choices of song. Phoenix was fairly good in his role. But that's about the only plus points I can give it.

I've not seen it yet but given that the original Joker was the darling of MRA's and reddit sad-boys the world over, I really, really hope the sequel is one massive troll and they left the cinemas weeping and raging into their cumsocks. That would truly be a piece of art in itself.

I watched portions of this new one online (you can find it in its totality if you know where to look ), and still found myself pretty intrigued and engrossed by what I was seeing.
