Life's more interesting when boundaries can be unexpectedly "crossed", but it's all in how it is done and one has to observe the current time and place for it to know it's possible... it's obvious to me that art is all but lost on Marcello. It's like he needs to force everything to happen. The irony is that even less may happen... or whatever he does get out of it will be the lowest hanging fruit.

And I think if I were one of the women in the house, I would have to tell Marcello to **** off.

But like you've said, he hasn't done anything so bad that it ruins his life.

Part of me thinks maybe they hold back from "letting it rip" because they know the actual ramifications of how things are edited, and thus perceived on the outside on social, can have very real ramifications for any one of them (including Marcello). Also, there's no way to tell how he'll actually react to be knocked down to the studs and they do have to live together with him and all...
