I think it too directly challenges her role in the house as the group's in-house therapist. If other people respond too positively to Khaled and he becomes a person people feel they can depend on, it may make her gameplan too obvious.

Same with Marcello. He's been quite conciliatory and considerate of other people in there when some were having a difficult time themselves. The only person he hasn't taken to was her, but then I think after seeing how she's been treating Khaled the way she has, I don't blame him for taking a different route and keeping his distance...
