Great thread User. Get rid of the useless lump. He's very offensive and quite dumb as fcuk. A dangerous combination.

This guy is a total idiot.

It's not just he shouldn't have said what he said, but it isn't even true what he said.

He is so dumb his tiny brain couldn't think, maybe if Trump comes back into power I'll be in deep sh** after what I've said.

He and Khan both complete dumb ***ks.

I've never thought someone should be sacked for comments made nearly a decade ago.

An opposition backbencher fuming on his social media isn't the same as a governmental Cabinet member playing politics.

Certainly not.
Ridiculous notion.

He should not resign for his comments just to please some rabid extremists crying boo hoo although they insult others left right and centre.

He's said only what likely if they were honest, what a great many across the world has or would have as to paranoid narcissist Trump

He's already met Trump now so it's fair to say his comments are water under the bridge and no further action is needed

Should a political figure have to resign because of previous comments about another - no, because you would expect that person, now in different circumstances, to be able to engage professionally.

But with it being Trump I'm less sure. He holds grudges, he remembers comments and reels them out later when it tuits, even if initily engaging with it seemingly being resolved.

Yes he should resign but not just for his Trump comments, but because he is stupid and a racist. He's said plenty that would have prompted me to ask for his resignation if I was his boss.

That is very fair of you arista and you'll never be a Labour supporter I know.
So it's an even more reasoned and balanced response because you're not.

Given Trump's not unjustified accusation towards Starmer's government of meddling in the US election in the hopes of a Harris win, sacking Lammy would, at the very least, be a show of goodwill towards Trump.

Yes
Trump is fine
so long as they have stopped the name-calling.

As you have noticed
JD Vance is now his number 2
a few years back called Trump
"hitler"

There's not a scrap of reason in that response.
Just wild rhetoric from a new prejudicially position taken.
Never saw you moaning when this was said 7 YEARS ago.

Opinions can change Joey. I don't like disagreeing on politics with you. We just really differ on.the current Labour Government.

labour would need to fire their entire cabinet, there isn't a single person wants trump president. Neither should any of us unless they want Russia ruling the country

So now Rayner has been slagging Trump off.

As I said before, what gets me about all this name calling is how infantile it is. Everything Rayner, Lammy, Khan say are just things that aren't true, just made up lies. But they say them because they think it sounds bad and Trump and his supporters won't like it.

Pathetic name calling. Things you'd expect to hear coming from kids. Lammy is one heck of a dunce. The man is an embarrassment.

They were prized fool to have ever made those comments about Trump in the first place, given they've all had aspirations of higher office and knew there was every possibility that they might one day have to bend the knee to the man. One would think it was ill-advised to appoint people with such poor judgement to their respective posts in the first place.

Having said that, other poeple in the thread are right when they say that Trump buries the hatchet very easily. In truth, he's a very uncomplicated personality. If someone compliments him or gives him a positive appraisal, suddenly he's friends forged in fire with them, e.g., Ted Cruz or Rand Paul. The truth is that flattery will get you everywhere with Trump.
