…I do feel personally…and it is just a personal thought…that Ali’s ‘late in life lesbian’ has maybe been that her brother’s death and the fragility of life etc..?…has determined her that she’ll live openly who she is and not live to expectations, type thing…I recall reading that she hadn’t felt that she could be open about her sexuality when she was younger…the family tragedy would have re-assessed so much in life in trying to find a place for and make sense of it all…
