Good luck to all the leaders attending this summit.

I'll pass on the ridiculously nonsensical tripe on that trashy rags front page.

Everyone wants the ukraine war to stop, but if it's just an excuse so that they can attack elsewhere in europe, it wont solve anything. Russia cannot be trusted. America cannot be trusted. This is the most perilous period in europe since the 2nd world war

If only these "leaders" took the situation so seriously sometime before.

How has constantly throwing money at Ukraine helped? It's done nothing more than sustain the status quo, they've not actively helped to end the invasion.

Why has it taken someone taking a groundbreaking action (actually trying to negotiate with the other side, shocking) for Europe to do something?

Yeah I mean let's be honest before Trump there had been basically no movement in either the war front lines or any peace talks for what, 2 years? It almost seemed like everyone had just accepted the war as a fact of life now

Trump's actions have certainly not been entirely praise worthy but they do look like they'll accelerate an end to the war and a shift in geopolitics that was probably inevitable anyway

Tbf there was an attempt at a sit down a few months in, was it Abramovich negotiating....anyhow that went sideways, I dont know how you can have agreement when only Russia is at the table......feels more like Ukraine being dictated to, not sure how that is going to solve anything

russia want elections in ukraine and Zelenski gone. It's not a peace deal in any shape or form. Also, we all know what Putins agenda is, it's to take back all the territory lost in europe. He is an old man, he doesn't have much time, so there won't be any form of peace

This Rushed Macron Summit
has failed.

Not just Germany, against Starmers plan,
Also Spain & Italy.

And reports Russia's Cheap Gas Supply
will end.

Not all of these nations want their Army
as Protection between Russia and Ukraine

the UK can't go in to ukraine unless it is part of Nato, anything else lessens their protection

I find it appalling that our armed forces, under-funded and eroded year after year by both the Tories and Labour, are being offered up by that suck-up Starmer. There are more illegals in the UK than there are service personnel. You could get ALL our armed forces into Wembley Stadium and have room to spare. Some serious investment and recruiting is needed if we're to deploy anywhere.

Germany
walked out of the meeting,
would not agree with PM Starmer.

PM Starmer
should get a Vote in Parliament
or else he looks wrong
