Some of them sound like they're in some kind of cult. I have a turkey farm not far from me, the turkeys are all free range and well cared for and actually, would not exist if they hadn't been reared for meat. The woman who owns the farm takes their welfare extremely seriously yet is plagued by vegans turning up, blocking her drive, letting the turkeys out during the night (never mind the foxes...). She must be so tempted to fetch the shotgun. With so many intensive chicken farms around you'd think they'd pick their targets.

For me Livia its all about the animals not what I want,I get annoyed with people who ah and coo over baby animals especially lambs, and the next minute they are on their plates,I just don't get that. Each to their own,I have family and friends who eat dead animals, but for me its just a no no,Ive seen too many documentries etc, to think humans can be trusted to be kind to these poor souls,I'de rather not exist at all than to live like some of them do,mainly the factory farmers ,dairy and chicken farms. Its not a cult for me just my way of life.
