Two things wrong with that, One - He felt he lost control over their relationship for a second, and Two - Him thinking enough of himself to think ANYONE should be flattered he'd "probably kiss them"

Yeah, good observations there. Chris has a front that he puts on where he's the "fun guy" but that falls a part very easily when he's not in control or being adored
