There is a violent and devastating war going on right now in Congo. Thousands of people have been slaughtered, the health system has collapsed, disease is rife, rape, sexual violence, cannibalism, dismemberment and the recruitment of children is happening every day. fighters from Rwanda have joined in, people are homeless. A reporter from the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, Philip Alson, reported that "Congolese army troops shot and beat to death 50 Rwandan villagers and burned their refugee camp at Shalio. 40 women were abducted. Ten who escaped reported being gang-raped and having pieces of their breasts cut off. The government troops involved were newly integrated rebels under the command of Colonel Zimulinda, who orchestrated the massacre.". Fighters regularly cut the breasts off nursing mothers so that they cannot feed their children. Of course, most of the women die of shock and loss of blood.

Someone please tell Gary. Why is he not interested in this? Why is no one marching in protest at this? Could it be because it doesn't involve Jews? Is war only abhorent when the Israelis are doing it? Because it seems like it's acceptable so long as Jews aren't involved.
