..I’m just thinking also that the townsfolk/surrounding local community would have been very welcoming and chatty with him also, as he was obviously someone who Michael had welcomed into his farm cottage and allowed him to make a homebase….I wasn’t sure how long he’d been staying there but it feels like 3/4 years, he would have had a reasonable contact/connection with the surrounding community…

…inquisitive is a good word, I was trying to think of a descriptive but where my thoughts are is that even with someone who fairly much wanted to keep themselves to themselves…?…he’d lived there for 3/4 years in the property of a very popular local man who was a huge part of the community and very well liked…?…they wouldn’t allow themselves to not fully extend Irish hospitality, would they…they would be welcoming and they would also be inquisitive…so that’s something that I was thinking…also reading this….

THE man arrested over Michael Gaine’s murder was in dispute with the Department of Justice prior to the farmer’s death, we can reveal.

The Irish Sun has learned that the man, in his 50s, had interactions with the authorities, which also involved the Gardai.

…and the articles say that the questioned man had ‘extensive networks in another country’, whatever that would mean…but he was released without restriction and not considered a flight risk…

Maybe he doesn't have an in date passport or something that they think he won't run? I don't know

…yeah I guess that could be an explanation, that they know that he can’t leave the country…I guess that I was probably over-thinking in terms of …was any type of diplomatic immunity involved when they had released him without seemingly applying to question/holding him for longer while the search continued…I really do hope this has a resolve for the family…no matter how awful, not knowing is an horrendous thing…
