…I just read that Michael had allowed him to live there for 3 or 4 years…so he must have also been very known in the community…

Maybe, it also said he rarely left the property so who knows? So many rumours milling around with this one, I hope it doesn't go unsolved

..I’m just thinking also that the townsfolk/surrounding local community would have been very welcoming and chatty with him also, as he was obviously someone who Michael had welcomed into his farm cottage and allowed him to make a homebase….I wasn’t sure how long he’d been staying there but it feels like 3/4 years, he would have had a reasonable contact/connection with the surrounding community…

And I can tell you from personal experience people around this area are very............inquisitive

…inquisitive is a good word, I was trying to think of a descriptive but where my thoughts are is that even with someone who fairly much wanted to keep themselves to themselves…?…he’d lived there for 3/4 years in the property of a very popular local man who was a huge part of the community and very well liked…?…they wouldn’t allow themselves to not fully extend Irish hospitality, would they…they would be welcoming and they would also be inquisitive…so that’s something that I was thinking…also reading this….

…yeah I guess that could be an explanation, that they know that he can’t leave the country…I guess that I was probably over-thinking in terms of …was any type of diplomatic immunity involved when they had released him without seemingly applying to question/holding him for longer while the search continued…I really do hope this has a resolve for the family…no matter how awful, not knowing is an horrendous thing…

That's an odd one isn't it? Says he was sleeping in a doorway before he went in by the bins, could he have been with his phone inside a rubbish truck? Maybe he decided to get in one of the bins and sleep and ended up in the truck? Howe big was the land fill, big enough that he could have ended up there and just not been found?

….yeah I think that it’s been established now that he was in the bin/dumpster sadly and taken to land fill…not with any actual physical evidence at the land fill though and his mom had to fight many times to have areas of land fill searched…they are very high to have climbed into one of those dumpsters when he was very drunk and staggering but he obviously did…there was incorrect information for good long while, though in that it was said that the land fill theory couldn’t be a possibility because the dumpster wasn’t ‘overweight’ /…it was impossible for his body weight to have been in there…?….but then it was several years later that, that was said to have been incorrect information given and that the dumpster was overweight by almost exactly Corrie’s body weight…..there are still the odd signs that haven’t been taken down of ‘did you see anything/Corrie that evening…’…they were everywhere at that time…

….another sad aspect is after he disappeared/died…?….it was revealed that his fiancé was pregnant and that he had been going to be a dad…

Even if they find the guys fingerprints or DNA on these tools that may not be enough, if he lived on that land he could explain that away, saying he uses them before. Proving this is going to be so difficult

…the article kind of clarified that he doesn’t seem to have been an isolated loner, type thing…if he regularly played his music in the town …he obviously became in some way, a part of the community…I wonder what the local people think atm…
