Watched "Bet" on Netflix (bizarre ...erm ... gambling school(??) drama based on an anime) with my wife and eldest -- silly, camp and somewhat nonsensical but we really enjoyed it .

Sort of like "Sex Education" -- if the school was like a rich people's casino, all of the students were gambling addicts with billionaire sociopath parents, and they all kept trying to kill each other.

…I’m really liking this a lot, it’s such an easy watch and so far no one got killed…Mariana Treviño especially is just such an engaging actress……Owen Wilson is just Owen Wilson in every character he plays but I don’t mind that…

I've been dipping in and out of The Rookie - it's about a trio of trainee cops and their training officers, mostly focusing on the titular rookie, who joined the force in his forties.
