I agree that people should take some agency for whether they are or aren't on social media - with everything that involves. Not that that excuses racism and you shouldn't
have to leave it but at least you can avoid it a bit
I think on balance we're probably worse off for having social media but it is difficult to ignore it. Even this forum is social media really I guess
