Fact is .. he lost his job as a pundit … which ultimately led to his suicide That very thing is happening now , more and more frequently .. due to the proliferation of female ‘cough’ experts taking more and more of the available jobs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Zizu; 24-07-2025 at 07:46 PM. |

You are entitled to your opinion on it Zizu. I just dont think a thread about a man taking his own life is the place to use it as a platform to complain about women in sport commentaray/punditry especially when he lost his job through his own actions. It has absolutely no bearing on why Graham Thorpe took his life.

Well it could have a serious effect on many of the guys being unfairly displaced by women Thorpe fell into a deep depression immediately after losing his pundit’s role Suicide in sportsmen is rife and rising Surely that’s a concern ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This thread is specifically about Graham Thorpe though and he had his own demons that he was dealing with. Blaming women in this thread just seems a little distasteful to me. As I said you are entitled to your opinion but Graham Thorpes death whilst contributed to losing his job also was directly affected by Civid lockdowns as his wife has said. None of which had anything to do with women.

Ah, there it is again. “Obtuse.” Your go-to buzz-word whenever anyone disagrees with you or calls out your sexism.

I get where Zizu's coming from, but I don't believe that this is the right thread to be discussing women's role in punditry.
