I do agree with your last point except I don't see any possible election earlier than perhaps 2028.
Had the overall majority been more about 30/40 then possibly.
Not one of over 150 still at least though that Starmer has.
There's no way Labour MPs would vote for an election and any vote of confidence from the Conservatives would be massively beaten.
He's got still 4 years, ( that's virtually a full term still of government), and he and his government I agree have to act on the immigration issue and hopefully with other Parties, get a more reasoned rhetoric about it and not the more like hate preaching scapegoating of Farage's Reform mob.
That's another issue too though, because other than perhaps the conservatives sadly under Badenoch.
There's NO other Party currently in parliament who would want to risk a Farage led Reform extreme government, so I can't see any votes forthcoming for another election myself.
