I don't think that the Grimsby tackles were that bad personally.

Man Utd were poor imo, and Amorim is an abysmal Manager.

I would agree with most of what you say but it’s worrying that a top level referee is capable of missing those two fouls .

Both were whacked hard and never got the ball … Amad Diallo looked a bad injury initially.

But hell even if you get the ball first you are now not allowed to also take the man . The rule is there to protect players from serious injury .


That’s the second time refs were clearly home biased ( or scared of doing their job properly)

Just watch until Amad Diallo gets bushwhacked on the touch line .. felt like about 10 minutes in to the game



As an afterthought Grimsby played some lovely, intricate football throughout the match !

Crazy that a Division 2 team plays football that would grace the Premier League whilst Newcastle UFC play a game more fitting to non league or Sunday morning ‘kick’ abouts !

It’s basically comparing Premier League to whatever the league is called that’s a couple down from Division 2 .


The vast majority of male pundits played premier league football and are all instantly recognisable as we ACTUALLY got to see them playing .. and playing well !!

The only examples of these women playing are seeing that Sanderson woman failing challenges time after time on SoccerAM or Karen Carney being outplayed by celebrities on SoccerAid !

You must be aware of all the examples of top international women’s teams being thrashed by boy’s under 16 teams over the past few years !!?

I get all of that tbf.

But I don't really take the women losing to teenage boys that seriously, because the biological advantage for the boys will have started to kick in.

For me I'm going to judge the female pundits on three things.

1. Does she have charisma?
2. Does she have knowledge of the game?
And 3. Was she at least decent at Football in some capacity? because after all these women can only play what's in front of them.

I don't know, only Eni Aluko has made me dislike her due to how she treated Ian Wright.

You can’t possibly think that smug , patronising Karen Carney or Izzy Christiansen have charisma !

As regards knowledge of the game .. one of the frequency used female pundits played just 135 times ( including games as substitute) at a pitifully poor level .. are you seriously suggesting her knowledge is on a par with all the guys who played hundreds of games at elite premier league level ?

As regards the boys having the physical advantage .. what about the games against 12 years old lads or the one against the old , overweight guys ?
