The bit that got me though is that Caroline didn’t even know she was pansexual. She’s been trying all this time to match make Nancy and Cam B too, and Nancy never said anything.

but being pan doesn't mean she could be into Cam does it? I think she is hedging her bets as to how she will proceed

She could still be into Cam, but with how hard Caroline was pushing the match making at points would have been a fair time to explain to Caroline her pansexuality to ease Caroline off (and to make her aware).
