They are the same, but people who identify as pasexual make a point of saying "I would date someone who's trans" - they basically other transpeople by definition, because their self-defined sexuality makes a point of differing them.

Whats the difference between someone reading about say the pharaohs or dinosaurs which are definitely factual or the bible which historians do not consider as a historical reference text.
