Remembering Kerry
|
I have not much time for Netanyahu or Trump.
However this is a special day and hopefully it is now the base for a more permanent peace and more secure way forward, for both Israel and the Palestinians. Trump does definitely warrant massive credit for his important and major role in getting things to where they are today. I've always felt Israel had the right to defend itself and now things are hopefully to settle down, perhaps the real truth of the last years will be finally revealed rather than biased reporting or from even assumptions. Israel has to be able to live securely and without sickening threats from some organisations and even other Countries to wipe Israel out. That is what Israel has always been up against. There are few or even NO real winners in war. Even here, so many hostages originally despicably taken from their life in Israel, some will not be walking out to their lives again, because their lives have been taken. War often has very uncertain outcomes. However, today, and again I commend President Trump for his efforts. I hope this will lead to a lasting peace. |
