…I wouldn’t personally link Elsa to ‘child abuse’, that’s something we couldn’t know but for me, I’ve known several young people who have experienced many levels of an abusive home life and it’s not personally what I would feel for Elsa…obviously all things are possible and abandonment/rejection is form of abuse…which we know to be the case from her story that she consciously recalls the neglect that she experienced with her birth parent(s)…the clinginess and reassurances and strong early emotional attachment, feel very much linked to abandonment type issues and that it feels as though she needs a relationship to feel her own validation…that she can’t identify herself/who she is outside of that thing of being a girlfriend who is adored…

I would agree with everything you say 100%

Maybe the person suggesting possible child abuse was linking it possibly to growing up in care and all the horror stories surrounding it

…I’m just looking through and can’t see any hateful comments in the thread…she is a housemate though that is open to criticism and and discussion in her declaration of love for a housemate that she’s only known a few weeks …that’s what BB is about though, creating and environment of situations and interactions and blends etc that are presented to discuss in their ‘social experiment aspect’…and we have to all accept that we won’t always view situations or housemates in the same way….
