I’ve noticed some members say some peoples photos/pics are too large.

I use my phone for TiBB so I assume they get auto sized to fit the screen, as they never look too large for me. I’m also unsure how to tell if what I’m posting is too large until somebody says.

Is it just a phone thing or is there a setting computer/laptop users can switch on to make the pics auto resize?

it depends what style sheet the user picks. Some auto resize pics, others don't .... i'm sure that helps a lot

Yeah they always look fine when I'm on my phone as that seems to autofit. Some are huge and stretch the screen though when i use my PC. Not sure how you know though if you post from your phone. That's a question for @James

Don't think I've used the site on a laptop for years but would it work if you just select the mobile theme from the bottom? (ST responsive)

you would have to use one of the unresponsive style sheets and see what happens

Yeah, if you use one of the ST-Responsive themes the pictures will autosize.

Especially good if you are viewing on mobile.

Go to User CP (to change permenently) or the style-selector menu at the bottom-left of the forum.

He uses his phone though like myself, so wouldn’t know if they’re too big.

Doesn’t matter know, laptop users have the option there so pictures will auto resize.

Yeah, can’t recall the last time I was on here via a laptop/computer.

Using one of the St-Responsive themes solves a lot of these problems.

I did think about putting everyone on it. (if you chose not to opt out)

And I paid money for that theme also...

I got a new phone this week and had to log back into the website. It automatically put me on the BB11 theme - now there's a throwback

…if you did put everyone on it…(…except for opt outs…)…would any/all pics posted automatically resize to fit the posting box and none stretch a thread…?…

…every time I log on I have to re-select my chosen theme again at the bottom left drop down…it never seems to hold/save the skin I’m using…

Go to User CP - Edit Options and scroll down to Forum Skin, and change it there, to keep the change.

I did like using Colour Splash as a theme but for some reason on my Chromebook - where I've been using Firefox, because Chrome was having issues with accessing the site (something to do with permissions??? idfk) - it will stretch the whole page to show the full image and then make every other post in the thread teeny-tiny.

Saying all that I've just gone to open the site in Chrome and it's working again so who knows... I just hate using forums on a phone
