Thank you for asking ..

Still suffering with the flu / man flu / covid or whatever but I think I made the right decision to quit the forum - it was a relief when I finally made the decision

I have replied to this particular post as it was a direct question ( coming from a good place I think) and I felt it deserved a response .

It’s a good time/place to maybe tie a few loose ends up/off ..

My biggest regret is that so many in here hold lasting grudges so once you cross them you are done for .. such a negative and toxic trait

One of my favourite people in here is Swan .. we often fell out - usually about football / but the next day it would be forgotten - even though I occasionally drove him absolutely crazy we would often be in total agreement about something soon after - that’s healthy !

Others like Mystic and Kate were always there for me and oddly/coincidentally I rarely disagreed with any of their points or views ..


I didn’t care for a few of Redway’s parting comments especially the suggestion I was always crying wolf - he said I was forever making threads / threats to leave but never did ..

Now to my knowledge I have only made two such threats/ threads… my latest one and maybe a year or two ago … so that’s twice in what . 15 years and 40,000 + posts ??

I made a thread to apologise for being irritating and irritable and said I was having a self enforced break last week but that doesn’t count surely !?!


( oh Redway you asked about the rat in the other thread … it didn’t go up , inside my jeans - it ran up my leg OUTSIDE the jeans then I ran off screaming )


Back to the serious stuff ..


Some questioned my concerns for Elsa

We know she was adopted at a very young age of 3 or 4 and we know the frailties / personality disorders associated with that kind of trauma ( some don’t care they just hate her for some reason ) …

Anyways at the start of every big brother series- once we know the names of the housemates I research them all thoroughly ..

The one thing that hit me about Elsa in particular wasn’t that she was an ‘internet influencer’ with half a million online followers (that seemed to irritate a lot in here ) it was that she had had a long term , volatile relationship with a slightly older internet ‘star’ named Ed Matthews also a celebrity boxer / fighter since she was a school girl …

So I researched their relationship ..

They’ve been together since she was 15 years old and they have a crazy on off relationship .. you all know how needy she is -he does something to cause each break up but she always takes him back .. not a healthy state of affairs by any means!

You can check through his TikTok clips but be prepared to be shocked !

They only split up this time because she decided to go into the big brother house and he was totally against it

What concerns me most is that he’s out there when she leaves and will most probably go back to him ..


Oh and so many questioned why Elsa nominated Tate .. with so many odd theories given …

Didn’t she say she was disappointed he’d upset her BEST friend Teja and he said they didn’t really get on or something ..even though he never tried to talk to her ??

That seemed to be a more than clear enough explanation … tbh

If that's how you feel at the moment that's how you feel nobody can contest that.

As someone that stepped away once for years and popped back in like it had just been a day (hence my avie caption "shiieettt 2 years later") I can say that your decision doesn't have to be final even though it feels like leaving permanently is the correct decision at this moment.

I can't pretend I've read all posts to know where you are coming from but what I do know is that wherever you go in life there will always be disagreements. Sucks sometimes but that's life.

Take all the time you need, maybe you'll reconsider by next series who knows. Mental health comes first
