Well, obviously, taxing the rich will fix all government abuses and end obesity. Cameron just doesn't know any better. If the government have more money to spend on itself, then people will be happier and thus eat less food, even though they're already starving.

Sorry, I haven't a scrap of sympathy for UK farmers.
They've never cared about everyone else having to pay all taxes if eligible.

All I've ever heard from farmers is moaning and whining all of my life so far, never content, never happy.
I've no time for them.

That's a bit harsh Joey. Farmers are not like everyone else working a 9-5 with all the perks of holidays, sick pay etc. they get up at 5am 7 days a week, work all hours throughout the year, don't take holidays, don't have weekends off. There is zero separation between work and life. And doing all that doesn't bring you fame and riches, it only gives you a subsistence. But you do it because your family has always done it and because you have that relationship with the land and with your farm that is quite difficult to understand if you work from a desk. Plus there can hardly be a more important role than producing food for the country. So if farmers aren't happy I think it's important to listen to them
