Horrific, yet not surprised. As others have said, this is only the first day and I’m sure there will be more. I think Europe will be next sadly. I always worry about friends and family in busy cities across the pond getting caught up in something like this.

The one good thing about here in the US is that if something like this happened over here they’d be detained a lot more swiftly. I saw a video where the cops just drove past while they were shooting and I was like what??

But honestly I don’t even know if cops over there carry guns? I doubt it. Maybe it’s like London where only certain cops have guns? I’ve never been so I don’t know.

They should have been staying well clear and let the police do their job, baffling behaviour

Still seems like the police response was incredibly delayed though, it's insane that journalists were able to get high resolution photos of the gunmen before police arrived on the scene

If you watch this it actually looks like he picks up the gin again and starts having it out with the one on the bridge.
