I mean there's only 400 Labour MPs so it's not going to do pubs any real damage by denying them business - it's just a symbolic gesture. Think people would understand more if they were breaking their backs running a pub and continuously being bled dry by the government to cover for their own mistakes and inept handling of the economy

It's also not unusual for lots of pubs to have political leanings, half the ones in Bristol are decked out with Palestine flags and '**** the Tories' posters etc. Not sure why we're now wringing our hands over Labour MPs not being welcome in some pubs
