What I don't get is how one group of people, illegal migrants, are fed, housed, cared for, defended have their legal teams funded by us... and another group, our own homeless, are left to fend for themselves on the streets, supported only by those of us who donate to homeless charities? The government has already told us that the rights of illegals are greater than ours. Where on that scale do the rights of homeless people lay? Pretty low down, I'm guessing. And in this current financial crisis a HUGE number of people are one pay day or less away from living on the street.
