Homelessness happens for loads of reasons. Councils failing people. Relationships breaking down. Debt. Losing a job. People just slipping through the gaps.
That is bad enough on its own. It doesn’t need to be compared to anything else to matter.

If we can house people who illegally turn up on our shores then we should be able to do the same for our own NO MATTER what the reasons are for them finding themselves homeless.
