I don't think that there's anything wrong with men or women having a bit of fun about who they do or don't fancy personally.

I think it depends on the intention of the person, like are they being hateful towards the person in question, or are they just saying that the Celebrity isn't their type?

I also want to add that if someone is going to call a Celebrity ugly, I prefer people to do it on a Forum like TIBB rather than Social Media, because the Celebrity isn't very likely to be reading TIBB posts.
