I don't know if I would say men have it easy in that area, because I do tend to hear more Misandry comments getting made on Social Media for example, but obviously I do agree with you that Misogyny is still far more common.

Yep. So Zizu is well in the wrong for cutting in with defensive projection there. But unfortunately, if the problem’s always the opposite sex, people being cruel, tone or alleged misunderstanding, people never have to feel shame, guilt, growth-pain or realise that you can be accountable for being wrong while still being a decent human-being. And some people never learn that, no-matter how old.

Moderators, an imperfect system, co-workers and family protect them so that they never have to take responsibility for a single word they say, publicly or privately. I gave Zizu the option to take private accountability via PM over a different matter, something very dear to me that he tried to gaslight me over, very insensitively. He ignored me. That says it all. And it’s not something that should be enabled, with everyone but him being punished, any more than pointing out that women have unique struggles across the world on account of their gender should turn into a competition with people who happen to have a dick. So let’s just not make excuses for him. It only enables him to keep getting away with misogyny and more. He’s more than old enough to know better. And we should be able to point that out without risking a ban. It wouldn’t be tolerated at that repetitiveness from anyone-else. That’s my perpetual grievence with him and I say that without trying to be blatantly insulting this time. I’m just calling out patterns. I’m not the only person who’s noticed them, either. Some people will still defend you out of feeling sorry for you but I won’t. You’ve crossed too many lines and you need to own half of what you’ve said. You can’t blame your nerves forever or claim that every instance of being called out is an insult. We all like to be the good guy in our books and naturally defend ourselves but no-one gets it right all the time. Even when accountability’s staring at you in the face, it’s easier for you to ignore, deflect, call people obtuse for not agreeing with you, make out their reading-comprehension skills are at fault because they disagree with you and whip out the bullying/abuse card, all while ignoring specific points and instances people present to you. But then, actually naming accountability from your keyboard is the first step to actually taking some, I guess. I would hope.

Glenn has long-term beef with someone on here I consider a genuine friend and I’ve naturally never been a fan of that but between you and him it’s different. If anyone’s bullied or hounded you per-se between us, it’s me. Not him. He’s always calm and succinct when it comes to disagreeing with you, which in his case is genuinely all it is. He’s not ganging up on you or taking it any further than just challenging your posts, like he would with anyone-else he doesn’t agree with. I was hesitant to even ride with Glenn openly there because I didn’t want to look like I was taking sides but we’re well-beyond that now, and no-one’s directly insulted you in the past 24 hours. All your default-replies were pre-empted but you went ahead and made them anyway, only proving people’s point about you further.
