Yep. So Zizu is well in the wrong for cutting in with defensive projection there. But unfortunately, if the problem’s always the opposite sex, people being cruel, tone or alleged misunderstanding, people never have to feel shame, guilt, growth-pain or realise that you can be accountable for being wrong while still being a decent human-being. And some people never learn that, no-matter how old.

Moderators, an imperfect system, co-workers and family protect them so that they never have to take responsibility for a single word they say, publicly or privately. I gave Zizu the option to take private accountability via PM over a different matter, something very dear to me that he tried to gaslight me over, very insensitively. He ignored me. That says it all. And it’s not something that should be enabled, with everyone but him being punished, any more than pointing out that women have unique struggles across the world on account of their gender should turn into a competition with people who happen to have a dick. So let’s just not make excuses for him. It only enables him to keep getting away with misogyny and more. He’s more than old enough to know better. And we should be able to point that out without risking a ban. It wouldn’t be tolerated at that repetitiveness from anyone-else. That’s my perpetual grievence with him and I say that without trying to be blatantly insulting this time. I’m just calling out patterns. I’m not the only person who’s noticed them, either. I just hope he changes one day.
