I deleted a post earlier in which I admitted I was rooting for Don Lemon. This isn't because I've suddenly become a fan; rather, it's a reflection of the social media landscape we all inhabit — one that has pushed everything into extremes and absolutes. It's a case of "my enemy's enemy is my friend," leaving almost no middle ground.

I'm actually proud to occupy that middle ground, but the fact that it's become so rare, so marginalized, is disheartening. Things are so polarized that I found myself thinking, "Go on then, Lemon — get your lawyers on TV before the White House even opens its mouth."

It's surreal. I don’t typically root for him, yet here I am, watching the situation unfold and feeling compelled to take that position due to the surrounding noise.

I’m not sure how we reached this point, but now we find ourselves in a moment where even taking a moderate stance feels like an act of rebellion.
