'manipulated' into praising Hitler



[Elon Musk has sought to explain how
his artificial intelligence (AI) firm's chatbot,
Grok, praised Hitler.

"Grok was too compliant to
user prompts," Musk wrote on X.
"Too eager to please and be manipulated,
essentially. That is being addressed."

Screenshots published on
social media show the chatbot saying
the Nazi leader would be the best person
to respond to alleged "anti-white hate."
Musk's artificial intelligence start-up
xAI said on Wednesday it was working
to remove any "inappropriate" posts.

were "irresponsible,

what is good about Grok is that it has a human face in Elon and he is willing to adapt learn and inform

No offence but it's that type of thinking as to why the UK consistently has terrible PM's, because we never tell them no.

And it's the same with AI, most people dislike it's implementation into society, but we just bitch and moan about it on the Internet rather than doing peaceful campaigns against it's existence.

if we stop AI development here, we fall behind everyone else. You cant stop the world developing AI

People around the world have an issue with AI in general, but refuse to let it be known to their leaders that no means no.

Governments will continue to develop it. Russia and China won't be stopped by the people. In that circumstance we have to put more resources into AI than them to stay ahead. It's naive to think that anyone can stop it/

I have AI models running on my computers in my home. No one can stop that now

As I've already said earlier, this type of thinking is why the world in general is in the mess that it's currently in.

And we're all guilty of it tbf (including myself very much in this) AI is just one of many topics where we have let it fester into society.

but that type of thinking is reality. I like AI, i wont get rid of it. It cant be stopped now, and no amount of wishful thinking will change that
