I mean things get confused and move fast in any war so I wouldn't be too critical of our government or the tourists themselves. Back in 2022 I visited Ukraine ten days before Russia invaded so I was very close to needing to be bailed out by our government then part of my reason for going ahead with the trip was thinking our government would take care of British tourists and issue new advice if things did get a bit more hairy but I never imagined that things would unfold as they did
