I took it to the vets and held it down whilst he injected its abdomen with (I think) barbiturate. It was pretty traumatic as I had him for 18 odd years.

Not really.

But I think euthanasia should be legal anyway.

Its a persons choice if they want to die or not. Same way as suicide isnt illegal.

Also I believe people who try to kill theirselves shouldnt be saved. Its a waste of time on the hospitals part, and if they wanted to die,why save them? It would also stop a lot of this 'cry for help' bollocks that happens. People wouldnt be so quick to take 10 paracetamols (which is unlikely to kill you anyways...) and phone ambulances on themselves and that. That way people who NEED help, would get it quicker.
