do you recall the scene in that Prada Devil film where the main lead gets pwned by Meryl Streep for saying that she wore what she wanted and not fashion...

Punks had real values though. They couldn't really help it that the movement got big. In that case what you are wearing right now is bound to be a copy of what someone else is wearing. If you know anything about the original Punk movement you know it wasn't fashion driven. If anything it was anti fashion. And those crazy bastards just went ahead and made their own clothes. Punk's have values.

Emo's are a completely different story. Young kids who follow a fashion trend they will one day grow out of with no meaning whatsoever other than to dress a certain way and listen to abhorrent music.

I know plenty of adult punks. How many forty year old emo's have you seen?

That's all the fashion I want in my life. Style is one thing, fashion is another...a load of wank.

They do exist you know. They may not necessarily dress punk, but as I said before, punk is a lifestyle.

I'll admit I used to dress like the Gallagher brothers, cool and casual. But they dressed like The Beatles, The Stone Roses and Johnny Marr, so it all stems from somewhere.

To be honest that's not so much of a fashion trend. It's only natural to be influenced by your favorite bands. That's not really a trend because you have a genuine passion for the group.

And that's my defense for wearing eyeliner and leather pants.
