Maybe those views are from a generation who have been exposed to more materialism than previous generations - all this celebrity obsession from many. Maybe things like video games etc have hardened today's youngers to compassion - I don't know. Maybe I am just being naive - but I can't imagine any of my friends, when I was younger, saying such awful things.

I don't need to look cool for anyone. I might feel that way about that situation, but it's not like i'm going to go murder a child or something, i'm not all bad.
