I don't think there's any need for it to be honest. The only time I think it's acceptable is if someone is clearly saying goodbye to someone else. But if it's just a couple making-out on a bench in the High Street then I think it's for show.

That's my thoughts really, I don't mind people showing affection but keep it PG! It's because I'm more of a private person really, there's a time and a place when it's OTT and it isn't in public

Yeh, me and the missus stayed in a spa hotel for her birthday, and I had to wait to get out of the pool a couple of times.
