Thas the answer I give to anyone trying to tear down some superstar.
Can you not love them because of who they are, and love them only for the entertainment side of them. BEcause, I dont know about you, but my only role models, are people that I know. Superstars, have to maintain an image, so most of them claim, and show a squeeky clean image. But its just wrong to hold them to that standard.
I couldnt care less about Tiger Woods personal life and his marital issues. I only care about his golf skills.

I feel the same when people criticize Jenson Button, or any other athlete, for anything outside of their athletic accomplishements.

Well, yeah exactely, If people don't like him fine but whether he cheats on his wife or not, he can still play Golf which is what he's famous for and which is where his fortune came from.

Terrible excuse. Men might cheat at times. But they don't have affairs with eight different lovers over a long period of time (or how many is it now? I've lost count). It's obvious Tiger has been leading a double life.

lol, I feckin' hate Golf too but I don't see why him cheating on his wife would have any bearing on his career as a golfer, I mean if you're neighbour cheats on his wife his boss isn't going to fire him, is he?? (unless he works for his wife lol!!)

To be caught cheating a tiny bit (ie fractionally touching the sand with your club in a bunker and not mentioning it) can utterly ruin a career full stop, and has.

Now Tiger has not cheated in golf but he has done the bext worse thing and that is your family (in golf terms).

So you think the No.1 ranked golfer in the world, no longer has a career playing Golf because of his personal life? I think not.
