CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses are so desperate to get Peter Andre on the final series they have told him to “name his price”.

The show’s producers are throwing huge amounts of cash at the pop star – up to £500,000 so far.

They want him in the BB house to dish the dirt on his failed marriage to Jordan, 31.

The model, real name Katie Price, was recently paid a whopping £350,000 for her jungle stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

Big Brother bosses are now offering “obscene” amounts of cash to get Pete on the reality show, fronted by Davina McCall.

A CBB source revealed: “Pete would be a massive scoop for Big Brother.

“He’d be a huge ratings winner and would certainly prove a bigger hit than Katie was in the jungle. Pete’s the celebrity at the very top of the show’s hit list and they’ve told him to name any price he wants.

“ITV tried to get him into the jungle and failed, so they know how big it would be to get him into the house.”

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star Sunday Peter would not be drawn on a possible CBB appearance, saying he had various reality show offers on the table.

But the main stumbling block is that doting dad Peter is planning to take his children to Australia for a holiday at around the same time as the show.

Those plans have sparked a row with Katie, who is ready to fight a legal battle to keep the youngsters here.
Despite that, Peter is still hopeful of a break – with or without the children.

He said: “This year has been so full-on, I’m looking forward to taking a week or two off.”

Looking back on his eventful 2009, the 36-year-old singer said: “This has been such a rollercoaster year.

“From a personal point of view it has been the worst year of my life but professionally it has been unbelievable.

“I’m happier in a career point of view than ever before.

"The level of support I have received from people has just been incredible.”

In the last year he has been transformed from “Jordan’s less famous husband” to one of Britain’s biggest pop stars and most popular faces.

But he still has not gone on a date since his marriage split.

Peter explained: “I just haven’t felt ready but hopefully 2010 will change all that.

"I do get a lot of offers, though, and not just for dates. I get people sending pictures asking me to marry them. They even turn up on my door with food and cakes to ask me out, which is so sweet.”

He is now looking forward to 2010, with a sell-out tour, a new telly series and cookery books all in the pipeline.

And he is set to go head to head with Katie in the children’s books market.

The Aussie said: “I can’t wait for next year. I’m absolutely thrilled with the response to my tour.

“It’s incredible to think the dates have sold out and more dates have had to be added due to the demand. I really didn’t know how the fans’ response was going to be when I first decided to release an album, so this is like a dream come true.

“It’s been so huge that I’ve been asked to do a full arena tour and also tour Australia and Europe.


“I’ve got some children’s and cookery books coming out as well, so it’s going to be pretty amazing.”

Gosh, most of that artical is about Peter.
We wanted to know if he was doing CBB or not not a full story on how he feels about 2009.
