Feel awful for her, but I don't see everyone has to suddenly start liking her because of this like the OP suggested.

She obviously has her reasons for not going to the funeral, and people do grieve in very different ways - good luck to her.

i dont think shes strange for missing it but i think by going in shes preventing herself for going off the rails so it myt be for the best

She worked in the Sex Industry, she will have seen people taking hard drugs, may have seen them OD at times. She seems the type who is quite emotionally detached anyway.
