I've got it on in the background because of the CBB thing at the start. You won't see Fiona Bruce singing happy birthday to the viewers and theres a very good reason for that

ESPN and Top Up TV don't count.

Freeview is owned by almost every home in the UK and every TV you now buy has Freeview built in so no it doesn't have to change.
