Really perplexed by some of the nominees - Duffy is a total joke, I've never heard of Sade, and Keane and Travis!? You can tell this was selected by Radio 2 listeners...

but Oasis, Coldplay or the Verve to win.

I'd go with the Verve.....

wouldn't mind Oasis getting it and Coldplay's A rush....is the only one of their albums i like....

yeah I sometimes forget Dido's British, I think it's because of how American the 'Thank You' video looks, plus the Eminem collaboration.

You haven't heard of Keane or Travis; or am I reading that wrongly? I thought both of those albums were outstanding... Voting for Keane.

I do think it's a bit ridiculous that it extends as far back as 30 years ago; but I think all of the albums on that list are (from what I know of them) fantastic.

THIRTY YEARS worth of albums and this is what they come up with? Not denying some classics on that list [Oasis] but a lot of it is the same old white kid indie snobbery we saw penetrating those god awful best of decade lists.
